Internship Program Details:

UKG’s Intern program is dedicated to helping students jump start their business careers at a top-ranked technology company that cares about its people. This 6 month internship will begin in on Monday January 13th, 2025, and will end on Friday July 11th, 2025. It is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, from 9:00am – 5:30pm. To be eligible for our internship program you must be able to work in a hybrid environment and be on-site 3 days per week at our Kilkenny office which is in the IDA Business and Technology Park.

About the role:

As a Site Reliability Intern, you will gain valuable experience in the planning and development of technical projects to facilitate our responsibilities of Automation, Monitoring, Reliability, Efficiency of our platform. You will actively contribute to writing and testing production-level code and play a critical role in helping our engineering organization achieve its deliverables. You will also participate in code reviews in an Agile environment, receiving daily mentoring and guidance from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our platform.

• Contribute to the design and implementation of automation for infrastructure and application CI/CD.

• Work closely and collaboratively across teams, including product management, security, and wider UKG teams.

• Analyze and understand metrics, performance and reliability of systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A growth mindset with a passion for staying up to date with new technologies.

• Strong analytical, business process analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.

• A team player and strong communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally.

• Microsoft suite proficiency.
