You will be joining the Data Services Consulting job family of Implementation Services workgroup, under the Customer Experience division for the new customer deployments of UKG Ready product and work with UKG Ready customers in multiple geographies.

We hire people having knowledge in Human Capital Management or Workforce Management domain for products like ADP, Ceridian Dayforce, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, Ramco, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday.

This Senior Data Services Consultant is responsible for creating solutions for various US-based clients to meet their data conversion requirements from legacy formats to UKG formats. This includes extracting different types of output files from customers' or their third-party environments. The selected candidate will utilise the defined data extraction & manipulation processes and company-licensed software & tools to achieve established milestones and targeted completion dates. They will work in team-agonistic mode to support the UKG Ready Solution Consultants for their customers' data-loading needs and will collaborate closely with UKG Managers to complete tasks delegated by them towards completing data conversions.

As a Data Services Consultant within our Technical Shared Services (TSS) team, you will do the following:

• Understand customer data import requirements and translate them into required data files in UKG format.

• Responsible for accurately extracting & converting data from customers’ source system(s) into UKG Ready product.

• Accountable for delivering data conversion consulting services to UKG Ready customers & partners.

• Mentoring other team members in case of any technical or functional gaps.

• Serve as SME for the deliveries.

• Collaborate and conduct a data analysis, evaluate client needs, deliver SQL development, and provide input to customers and internal teams on best practices for data management and cleanup.

• Interpret, validate, and convert data from source system(s) to target system.

• Utilize available data conversion tools, templates, and documentation to promote efficiency and standardization in compliance with UKG's data conversion methodology.

• Communicate with internal and external customers on project status, timeline, and assigned responsibilities.

• Use knowledge of a variety of alternatives and their impact on the team to develop an approach to solutions

• Provide input on data conversion methodology and process improvements

• Provide support to peers (e.g., mentoring, knowledge transfer) including developing and delivering knowledge transfer sessions on new tools and processes as needed/requested

• Serve as an escalation point for resolving issues with converted data

• Serve as Technical Project Senior on complex multi-resource conversions

• Work with less experienced Data Services Consultants in a mentoring and knowledge transfer capacity

• Develop and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to the team on new tools, processes and best practices to drive efficiency

• Support Go-Lives & Parallel runs during US hours when necessary.

• Work cross-functionally and amongst a team on Data conversion projects

• Understand & explain clearly difficult &/or sensitive information, and work collaboratively to build consensus

• Contribute to team objectives that may have impact on the area/group

• Conduct and/or participate in interviews to evaluate Data Services Consultant candidates

Qualifications

Individuals looking to be a part of our talented team should possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/Computer Science or related field

• 3-5 years of industry experience with deep knowledge in Data Science & manipulations

• Extensive experience in PL/SQL or any other Data management tools & technologies

• Proven knowledge of SQL, SDLC & AGILE methodologies

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and changing environments

• Excellent communication and consulting skills

• Ability to work in a business required shift (3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST)
