We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior UX Design Manager with expertise in Generative AI (GenAI) to define and drive the vision for the next generation of UKG products. In this role, you'll lead a globally dispersed team of UX/UI designers, guiding and inspiring them to integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into our product designs. Your role will involve coaching and motivating the team to innovate and excel. Excellent communication skills are crucial, as you will be responsible for developing and presenting strategies, concepts, and designs to large groups, cross-functional teams, and executives.
You will work closely with UX leadership to refine team processes and cultivate a vibrant, engaging work environment and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Vision: Define, refine, and advance the design strategy for a comprehensive suite of enterprise products, incorporating Generative AI to enhance user experiences.
• Design Excellence: Establish and maintain high standards for UX/UI design across the product suite, ensuring that designs leverage AI to be innovative, cohesive, and on-brand.
• AI Integration: Advocate for the use of Generative AI in design processes, demonstrating how AI can drive design innovation, usability, and accessibility.
• Design Systems: Promote product design consistency through the governance and evolution of design systems, integrating AI-driven insights and best practices.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of UX and UI designers across various locations, encouraging them to explore and utilize AI technologies in their design work.
• Collaboration: Foster collaboration with peers and stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of AI technologies throughout the design and development process.
• Talent Development: Recruit, onboard, and mentor designers, focusing on developing their skills in AI-enhanced design and improving team dynamics.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the definition and refinement of design processes to support business goals and improve efficiency, with a particular focus on AI-driven methodologies.
• Project Management: Oversee commitments and deadlines across multiple projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery of AI-integrated design solutions.

Required Qualifications:
• Degree in Human Factors, Engineering, Design, Graphic Design, Media Arts, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in product and UX/UI design across various platforms (web, mobile, tablets, kiosks), with at least 5 years in a leadership role, and a strong background in integrating Generative AI into design processes.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams, inspiring excellence, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Proficiency in standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch) and a deep understanding of current design trends, including the application of Generative AI in UX/UI design.
A portfolio is required to be submitted as part of the application.
We work in a collaborative hybrid model. 3 days per week onsite in one of the city's UKG offices is required. If you are open to relocating, you must be moved to that location before starting in the role.

The pay range for this position is $137,900 to $198,250, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
